What we collect
- Order and account details: your name, company, email, phone, billing and delivery addresses, and what you ordered or asked us to quote.
- Payment: card payments are processed by Stripe on its own secure form. We never see or store your full card number; we keep only the last four digits, the card brand and the Stripe transaction reference so we can match refunds and queries.
- Site usage: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) kept for security, and, where enabled, Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement cookies so we can see which pages and ads bring people to the shop.
- Messages: anything you email us or write in an order note or quote request.
Why we collect it
To take payment, deliver your order, arrange pickup, send you the invoice and tracking, handle DOA and warranty claims, price and manage your quotes, answer your questions, keep the shop secure, and understand how the site is used. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not send marketing email unless you have asked for it.
Who we share it with
Only the people needed to fulfil your order: our payment processor (Stripe), our distributors when goods ship directly from them, the carrier delivering your parcel, and the manufacturer or distributor when a warranty claim requires it. Each receives only what it needs for that purpose. We use Google Analytics and Google Ads for measurement; Google’s own privacy policy applies to that data.
Cookies
The shop uses cookies that are necessary for the cart, checkout and your account to work, and measurement cookies from Google when tracking is enabled. You can block cookies in your browser; the cart and checkout need the necessary ones to function.
Keeping it safe
The site is served over HTTPS, access to the store’s back end is restricted and logged, and backups are taken daily and kept for a short, fixed period. Card data never touches our server.
Access, correction and deletion
You can see and update your details and orders in your account. To ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have your account deleted (tax law requires us to keep invoices for five years), email info@atomicnetworks.com.au. We answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
